Every year Essence come out with some new pieces to add to their permanent collection and each year there are a few bits that I can't pass. This year I managed to restrain myself to just a few that really caught my eye and here are the ones that I chose:
Velvet Stick Matt Lip Colour in 02 Peony Star
This one seemed to be all I am looking for in a lipstick; a mauve-y nude, matte finish and easy to apply. I would be lying if I said that the name wasn't partially the reason for me getting it, but we all know how much I love peonies. I've only tried it a few times, but I have a feeling that I'm going to enjoy it very much.
SuperFine Eyeliner Pen Waterproof
Every once in a while I feel the urge to find a great affordable eyeliner to replace my beloved ArtDeco High Precision one, and when I saw this one I had to give it a go. For now I can't really tell you much more, but it has a lot of potential.
Shape Your Face contouring palette in 20 ready, set, pink!
After I was so impressed with the new Catrice blush palette, I couldn't resist trying out the essence version as well. This one though is a contouring palette with a bronzer, highlighter and a blush. For now I'm not really happy with the highlighter, but the other two seem promising.
I included pictures in different lightings so that you can see the shimmer running through the blush and the shades of other two powders.
Keep it perfect! make-up fixing spray
A make-up fixing spray from a drugstore is something we've all been waiting for. I have yet to try this one, but I really have high hopes for it!
Brush cleansing spray
Another product that I'm really excited about is the brush cleansing spray, I've never had one like this before and I think it could be a great thing to keep my brushes clean during uses.
There were so many amazing new products out there and I wished I could try them all, but for now, these will have to do. Once I properly try them out I'll tell you how I feel about them.
Did you try anything from the new releases? What else would you recommend for me to try?
